Definition of Manual Handling
The transporting or supporting of any load by one or more employees, and includes lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving a load, which by reason of it's characteristics or unfavourable ergonomic conditions, involves risk, particularly back injury to employees.
Provide the candidate with the knowledge and various practical skills involved in Manual Handling
Demonstrate the practices of Manual Handling and Lifting as described in the Health, Safety and Welfare at Work Act 2005 And General
Applications Regulations 2007.

All personnel who are at risk of injury through carrying out Manual Handling tasks as part of their work duties
